Events in and around the hood

I love the neighborhood blog idea!

There are a couple things that our neighbors are involved in around West Seattle that I thought would be worth mentioning.  One of the neighborhood girls - and one of three potential babysitters for all these kids - is involved in the youth musical academy at Arts West this summer and performing in Seussical Jr.  Unfortunately, this is pretty last minute and the final performances are this weekend, but I think there are still tickets available for today's and Sunday's matinées.

In  other news,  I have been added to the list of servers at Proletariat Pizza in our beloved White Center.  I am one of several West Seattle moms that have managed to make up the majority of the staff there.  I'll keep you posted as to when I will be working, it would be great to see some new faces in there.  It is pizza well worth leaving the house for!

We're headed up to Bellingham and the String Band Festival, which should be fun. Hope everyone has a great weekend and I look forward to future posts!
